You're invited to a knitting party 🥳

The Nibbles KAL # 1 - A Welcome message & a quite long post to get everything started 🐰

I’m so happy to welcome you here, in the lovely company of these tiny bunnies.

You’re all invited to a joyful party where we’ll be knitting together these long ears loving creatures.

WHEN : it will run from November 12th to the end of the year, a great timing to consider delivering these little souls under the Christmas tree.

WHERE : the main chat will happen here on my Substack, in this section where you’ll find the posts dedicated to the knit along. You’ll have the opportunity to comment directly under the posts if you wish to, and to join the discussion in the chat section where you’ll be able to post about your progress & share pictures, and where I’ll invite you to post your finished project(s) at the end of the KAL.

WHAT : we’ll be focusing on knitting the Nibbles, a family of four little bunnies. You can find the pattern here in my Ravelry shop or here in my Payhip shop. However, friendship is precious for The Nibbles, and they asked for inviting their dear friends Didi Molly, Dodo & Mimosa and Tsutsu Bear to the party. Of course, their auntie Bunny Odile will also be there to watch closely after this little flock. So feel free to also knit one of these characters ! Didi Molly, Tsutsu Bear and Bunny Odile patterns can be found in my Ravelry or Payhip shops, Dodo and Mimosa pattern can be found in my book Mouche and Friends, published by Laine Publishing.

And now, one of the best parts of the plan : i have accomplices to co-host this knit along, which makes the party even more joyful ! I can tell without any doubt, that these partners in crime, passionate shop owners and wool lovers, dedicated to knitting community building, share the same childhood spirit, this little fire that got me into this journey of growing these little animals, and which is contained in every woolly friend we’re knitting. It’s all about playing, infusing joy and love in the stitches we make, and bringing a smile to everyone’s faces, should it be the maker, the futur human who will receive its animal friend, or any viewer of the making process.

All of them i had the chance to meet in real life, except Alanna whose shop is so far away from me (but hope i’ll make it there one day !).

What the accomplices plotted on their own ?

First of all they browsed their shop to propose you bundles of yarn & tools. Wether you are a local (lucky you !) or an online customer, they can advise you on what to choose to knit your bunnies ! On their website, you’ll find pages specially listed for the Nibbles KAL. Here it is for Loopine and here for Wild and Woolly

La boite à moutons will have sets ready to knit the Nibbles for their local customers (no online shop for now) on the markets of Cholet and Vallet in France. You can follow along here on their instagram.

Maison Bonpoil is still getting ready, i’ll keep you updated ! Edit ! Here is the link to what Marion proposed from her shop to knit the Nibbles.

For the local customers, there will also be opportunities to join in real life for some happy bunny knitting and chatting ! We’ll keep you updated along the way !!
